Revenue Management Analyst

 

The Revenue Management Analyst is accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis, and tracing costs. The cost accountant must also construct and monitor those cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and Analyze strategic pricing proposals

  • Develop & recommend pricing options & solutions with sales, finance , operations and maintenance

  • Identify, analyze, develop & implement process/practice/policy improvements to increase operation-pricing & revenue efficiency & effectiveness

  • Track, analyze & report on revenue & profit performance

  • Participate in projects & initiatives, including analysis, coordination & presentation

  • Work closely with sales & maintenance to determine compliance & control issues

  • Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies

  • Conduct ongoing cost analyses

  • Report on margins

  • Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances

  • Analyze capital budgeting requests

  • Involvement in annual inventory counts

  • Weekly/monthly reporting to management

  • Project future costs & prepare budgets for shop

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Statistics or related analytical fields,

  • CMA/CA Preferred

  • 3+ years of accounting/finance with an emphasis on pricing, analysis or approval capacity in a corporate environment

  • Superior analytical, planning & time management skills required. Ability to multitask & handle changing priorities with high level of quality.

  • Advanced computer skills required
