Full Time City Dispatcher

 

McKevitt Trucking Limited offers a fast-paced innovative environment. We are currently seeking a full time city dispatcher for our Thunder Bay location.

    Responsibilities:

• handling incoming customer inquiries

• act as liaison between customers and drivers

• process and transmit information and instructions

• dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders

• keep track of shipments

• maintain operator work records

    Our ideal candidate is an outgoing, driven, results oriented individual who is a good team player and also works well with minimal supervision. You must have a minimum 2 years experience at a transport company with multi tasking dispatch experience. Knowledge of transport billing processes, ability to prioritize and take initiative. Computer skills and a working knowledge of the AS/400 system is an asset. You have a professional manner and exceptional communication skills. Transport experience a must.
